Some days, when I launch, the purple martins get really close. I'm flying a mavic pro, I tend to just gas it and go, they don't follow, that I've ever seen. I have had close calls with a hawk or two, scary.

No I didn't do any more than send it out a few hundred feet and bring it back, I wish that I had, and will soon, but some "life" things have been real distracting. My guess is 2nd of May before I can give it a good go.

I took the 107 at a testing center in 2016, and passed. I'd bought one study guide and a local air chart from amazon for about $30.00. The book came with practice tests, I also took the free ones that 3dr had online at the time.
