In the UK, the CAA rules changed on the 1st January 2026. Drones under 900g can now fly in places that they could not before.

To confirm, I am in the UK and using a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) SIM linked to EE services. I finally got the SIM and installed the DJI Dongle 2 into an Air 3S this morning, before the Dongle had the connection to 4G, it did initially say that I could pay £29 for the service...

I have just bought one but do not have the SIM yet from the telco. Once I get it I am hoping that I can get the subscription still in the UK.

Just saying Hi to all, I have been a drone owner for about a year, a DJI Mini 4 Pro, and was recently gifted a DJI Air 3S by my wife. I live on the Isle of Wight in the UK.
