On a large fire, the only thing that eventually puts it out is the winter rains/snow. A year after one of our big fires, there was actually a small flareup - there was some pocket that was still smoldering over the winter and almost a year after the fires started, it flared up with some smoke -...
I wouldn't worry I'm pretty sure it will only require some sort of update (hopefully) Thank god I use my Air2s more than the others If they don't update I will be in the same line to purchase a module but pretty sure I won't have too
Turn on the drone only (not your RC) and open the Fly app on your phone. In the bottom left of your screen a message will pop up stating your drone has been detected and will ask you if you want to connect to it to allow ‘quick transfer’.
If you upload the flight log for the flight to PhantomHelp or replay the flight in the App's flight records section you may see the warning message with out the need for 'something like that'.
maybe try taking off soke of the gimbal covers to let it dry out / see if anything is visibly corroded inside? I honestly don't know, just spitballing here.

no one is working together to build a better recreational or commercial drone here in the US. There are so many more other priorities here at home besides drones from electric cars to mobile phones to other non-electronics.
Its like a Stock with bad news, it goes down becasue of worry and doomsday thoughts but than doubles it price a few days latter as the Main objective gets closer.

If your Air 2s is at firmware 2190 or earlier, you can use drone-hack to remove all that with the certificate hack, can even go as far as turning off aereoscope broadcasting.

the modules I have seen tested, are a little big still. They need to find a way to get them down to the size of an AirTag or maybe a strobe but they are not there yet. Maybe someone will combine a strobe with the module so you dont need both at night with two...
I compare the risk from a small drone to the risk of a bird strike, except that it is greatest near airports in urban or dense suburban areas. I trust that pilots of larger drones are more competent and have a larger stake in protecting their own investment.

Comes Sept doesn’t matter if you’re registered, you can still be tracked. What that means remains to be seen. What will enforcement look like? Stay tuned.
