As far as one Nation accusing another of gathering data on the other I simply have this to say: when you point a finger there are three pointing back at you. To wit, we do our own share of Intelligence gathering.

After 40 years as a Network Administrator for Fortune 500 Corporations with deep pockets to buy the latest and greatest, "Secure and Trusted Communications Networks" is an oxymoron.
Right now they are focused on National Security. They are not concerned whether Walmart, Amazon or BestBuy takes a financial hit (which they'll just write off anyway). If I were DJI, I'd be very concerned.

Thanks 13+Dragons! Good point but the FCC can rescind prior approvals, and most certainly can and will when it comes to any issue whatsoever with respect to National Security. And that is what they're concerned about.
That said, are the Chipsets in a 2021 DJI product the same in a 2023 Model...
