I'm not as experienced as most here so I can't get into details like the above posters, but my thought is: since this episode have you flown your drone in an open field to see if it repeats? Maybe there was something inside Home Depot or it's garden center that could have cause interference?
I tested one of the batteries yesterday and it worked flawlessly. Light winds and Up/Down 250 ft, about 5 times, took half dozen photos then let the drone hover. Flew 30 min before the 25% warning came on. Didn't see any significant voltage drop.
Thanks for your input. They were used by me for a couple of years, then I got involved in other things. I think what I'm going to do it fully charge both batteries and test each of them by having the drone hover at about 5- 10 ft until it gives me the low battery warning. I'll time both to...
Thanks. I have 2 batteries that haven't been used in about 1 year. Both came from DJI. I think I'll just recharge both of them and give them some exercise soon.
I fly in city parks early in the am before people start to congregate, also school athletic fields when no one is there, also church and large business parking lots when they are closed and no one around. Once I drove into a school parking lot and there was a police officer watching traffic. I...
I'm most comfortable using empty business parking lots when the businesses are closed and nobody around, same for church parking lots, city park athletic fields, and school athletic fields when school is out and they're empty. Recently I pulled into a local school parking lot and a police...

Since I never buy the extra insurance thats offered with many items, I forgot that I had bought the policy. I just kept the battery in...
When I first got my MP2 I flew to 400 ft from my neighbor's back yard because it was more open than mine. My neighbor had given me permission. No horizontal movement - just straight up. I took a 360 pano of my neighborhood and came straight down. No need to do it more than once - but I will...
