After 2 hours of trying, I gave up. Same problem as when I first got this drone. This issue is getting old real quick.

Not going well. 4 attempts so far.

Just throwing this out there for thought... I use an LG Aristo (Android) that I got for free from Metro PCS and works great with my M2Z. You could probably find a used one for next to nothing. No lag at all.

You would think that they would test all of these steps before releasing to make sure everything works as it should.

I had the same problem with my zoom. The positions shown on my phone did not match up with what the calibration process was looking for. Performed the calibration using the steps for a regular mavic Pro and it worked fine.
