I called the lake Elizabeth office and they said no drones. Then went on to verbally tell me that all Fremont parks are off limits. I would like to see this in an official bylaw tho

Golden Gate Park doesnt have any restrictions with part 107 on airmaps. Is this not ok to fly because its a federal park? can i take off from outside the park and fly over then? I was literally flying at the polo fields on monday...

This is correct, If you get caught its probably a nice fine as well as a bad name for drones... Im new to this forum but been flying for a while. Anyone running into lots of problems getting approval from airmaps but not from local authorities? is there a better way to check for no drone zones?

Have you found people to fly with? im down to go out and get some sick shots and see how everyone else is during flights
