Thanks for the tip! White balance was set to Auto, but some of the other parameters were set to manual, causing the problem. Issue resolved, thanks again for the help!
Just a thought, is the white balance set to auto or manual?
I recall reading a post years ago and it was set to manual and the screen showed black because of the settings.
Flipped the switch to auto and all was well.
