    Thanks for the tip! White balance was set to Auto, but some of the other parameters were set to manual, causing the problem. Issue resolved, thanks again for the help!

    Just a thought, is the white balance set to auto or manual? I recall reading a post years ago and it was set to manual and the screen showed black because of the settings. Flipped the switch to auto and all was well. .

    So there is a happy ending to this story. After a week stuck in a tree, Mother Nature did me a solid and sent some big wind to blow the drone down. Despite being on its back for a week, exposed to the elements, there was little apparent damage...
