Private pilot -Single engine land. New to drone flying. Can’t wait till it warms up to see if this thing will follow and video me on my Harley Ultra
Updated drone piloting experience:
Have owned 4, less complex drones, and after several crashes, and two fly always. the last flyaway was actually my first and only flight of that particular drone when it disappeared...time to upscale the technology.
Purchased a Mavic Pro Platinum with DJI refresh. Crashed it twice in less than a month, thus using up both refresh cases. Haven’t crashed since, and bought a second MPP. Both are still flying.
Update:
Crashed again today using Autopilot. I failed to walk nearer to the takeoff point before launch. The parameters I set put the Mavic in a nearby tree. After emergency shutdown due to the blades chewing on tree bark, the Mavic fell some 50 feet, slamming into the ground. Already ordered the replacement .
