I Read the entire post but I always thought if there were other aircraft in the area in other words if you could see another aircraft you were to bring your drawing down immediately so if there are police helicopters or a flying ambulances there would dictate you had to bring your drone down...

I found it interesting that one of the reasons for no drone flights was taking unauthorized photos of people with the drone, then what about all the people with cell phones taking photos lets see them stop all of them first.

How did you manage vlos?

Did you have faa waver?

I would think that they would have to prove that to a reasonable person standard that your drone flight interfered with their way of life.

I went to france and England earler this year i used lipo bags, followed all the rules, had the regs printed out packed with the batteries in my carry on. I did not want to have a problem of any kind. With that said i don't think they even looked at my stuff. No problem with anything.

I was there in May, I followed the rule about not flying in the NFZ. I took off from parking lots and immediately flew out to what I wanted to take photos of. other than a few kids saying "look a drone that's cool" nobody even notices I was there. flying a mavic pro.

Just remember if you sue them you will have to prove beyond 50% that there was a manufacturer error. And i think that is what DJI is saying that there is no proof that they are at fault. Only two crashes i have had were both my fault.

Great idea, in Scotland i needed to buy a photographer permit in a church once i thought ut was a grat idea. It alowed me to take the ohoto i anted, raised money for the church and for the most part kept people from being a pain to others by hold down the number of people tsking photos.

using Samsung s9 no problems with update

66 flights over 7 hours of flight time only one problem was fixed by getting a new phone. I went from a Samsung 7 to a 9. 7 was broken when I started getting problems with playback. new phone fixed all that.
