I had the 10% discount at Apple too but drone nerds is tax free and when combined with 3.5% cash back from Rakuten it was a wash price wise. Let’s see if they actually ship today though. lol

Nope. My order was still at “processing” with an estimated delivery of 5/13-5/20 as of an hour ago so I cancelled and ordered from Drone Nerds instead. They claim to be shipping today.

The energy grid is considered to be critical infrastructure. My guess is that if there’s even a remote chance that high resolution inspection photos are being shared with China then that would explain the ban for this specific use case, much like how the DoD banned them for sensitive operations.

I went from an Air to the MPP because of flight time and connection stability. The Air gets great range out over flat land with no obstructions (like at the beach) but that’s not where I live or fly so occusync is the way to go for me.
