    MAVIC MINI SHELL DAMAGE

The labour charge is defo an extra £30 just to fit a new cover. They will be putting the old one back on free of charge. Typical consumer electronics giant. Money money money. I will check the reinforcing webs and make a decision. I've gone for just the arm repair

    MAVIC MINI SHELL DAMAGE

So i've sent my Mini off to get a repair quote from Heliguy who i bought it from. They are an official DJI seller etc. Basically they are saying a small crack in the top is essential work whereas I was going to smooth it over myself (pop the indented plastic back into place, glue/epoxy resin...

    Gimbal Stuck, permanently?

So I crashed my Mini. Camera\Gimbal took a beating. Lens cover glass smashed and camera unit looks indented slightly on one side. I get a 'Gimbal Stuck' error and it is actually stuck, physically. When i fire up the mini, the gimbal tries to look around and does have some movement but is...

    DJI C3s80 Car Charger

Hello folks Can't find anything about this online. I've bought the above charger which is for the 'Mavic Range' but i'm not sure it's going to fit my Mini 1 batteries. Anyone?

    A2CofC 2021 UK

Hi All Hoping this thread is still alive. So I completed the A2 with UAVHUB. Granted I don't need that for commercial work but learnt a lot so worth it i'd say. So i'm wondering what to do next. GVC? Buy a better drone? (currently using a Mini 1). Photography or go down the industrial route...

    Optimising battery use

So i've had my MM for about a year now and when I fly, I tend to keep it in the air until the battery is low, getting what shots I can in the 20 mins or so per battery then bring it down. Im wondering if it would be better to send the drone up, get the shot, then bring it down and save some...

    ND's for Video vs Photos

So the filter I choose depends on how bright it is? Think I need to do a lot of tests to see the differences.... One more thing. I'm trying to stick to the 180 rule. This goes out the window though if i want to drastically adjust my shutter speed, no? I am a photography/videography beginner so...

    ND's for Video vs Photos

I have bought a set of Skyreat ND/PL filters (4/8/16/32/64). On one tutorial on youtube, the guy is using a 64 and hoping he gets the shot before the sun comes out. He is taking stills not video, of the sea rolling in from above for the motion blur effect. As far as I can gather, the sub64...

    A2CofC 2021 UK

Ok. So from my position, the Mavic Mini is my only option right night now and although the camera isn't the best out there, i'm hoping i can still get some small jobs with it to start. Would you agree that I don't need the A2CofC to fly it commercially for money? It's just not very clear...

    A2CofC 2021 UK

It's a minefield. Or maybe I'm confusing information from before and after the turn of the year and the new regulations. Oh really? Thanks for that. It's a minefield. Or maybe I'm just confusing information from before and after the new regulations. So what are the other benefits of taking the...

    A2CofC 2021 UK

I'm using a mavic mini and want to get my A2CofC to be able to use it commercially. Where is the best place to do this for value mainly but also quality of content, delivery etc? I know a place near me does an online course (covid) for £250 but saw another for £99. What's the difference? Just...

DJI Fly - Only videos visible.

Hi Just wondering why this happens, but i've noticed that once i've been out taking shots/videos, and the drone is off, disconnected etc. the app only shows videos. Anyone know why this is?

    Battery Overheated. Possibly dead :(

UPDATE: After leaving it to cool, I put it in the charger and once the other batteries we're charged, it began to charge as normal. I have not had a chance to test it but was looking good. May put some kind of sticker on this battery just so I can identify it as a possible risk, to keep an eye...

    Battery Overheated. Possibly dead :(

So my SD card reader is not working on my laptop so i plugged my Mini in directly and powered on with a battery in it. I started editing the footage directly off the Mini (thinking about it this wasn't the best idea). After half an hour it ejected itself and the battery is dead. It wont charge...
