Exactly right.Testing in a controlled environment is fine (and necessary) for defining specs, but the real world isn't a controlled environment. It's -all- about perception. We're only human, after all.

Remember that the wind gets (much) stronger the higher up you go. So if you get a warning, stay at that level or better, a bit lower. Never continue ascend....

I follow the same procedure (but with an iPad instead of an iPhone). No issues so far, always able to connect it all up. But, i am using the bottom USB connector instead of the side one.

Good question actually. I currently save it all on the mac to when i start editing, but 4K stuff takes up a lot of disk space. Was thinking of doing the same with quicktime, didn't realize it saves at 1080p.

I stopped using the mini USB side port and started using the full size USB port underneath the controller with a quality cable as i switches from iPhone to iPad. No issues so far....

The Go4 app is pretty stable on Apple devices.You should be good.
