Like I told before starting hit sticks in all directions and leave sticks free then start if beeps switch off and on again, for me it helps.

How close drone was to the water? I had some problems when it was close to water, drone went out of control, my heart stopped beating, after about 5 seconds i turn on sport and problem gone, I believe it was something to do with bottom sensor, it doesn't like when drone near water.

Similar story but with 50% of battery, it start to rotate and no control, quickly turn on sport and get all control back, I believe its because of water. Happy days

Give a plenty room for landing area, and keep an eye on it, it can land 10 - 20 foots away from place you took off, maybe you need to do small ujustment but be careful, I find out when it lands on RTH even small ujustment it very sensitive and drone jumps quite fast and can easy crash I have...

I am agree with you, just once I try lift up from car bonnet, and i get IMU error but not compass error, after restarted drone away from car was all OK. ? That's why I think about all magnetic interference can play with everything

Never keep drone close to big magnetic fields, like speaker or something who has magnet, once I keep with osmo pocket case and in the case was ND filters which is magnets on them have problems with RC, now keeping them separate and that problem disappear.
