We have falcons in this area and I admit that as a new pilot the concern has crossed my mind. On my first flight yesterday there was a small bird that kept buzzing my Mavic until I landed for a while.

In a good hard case made for the Mavic, gimble locked and props removed it should be fine. The foam will insulate the drone from normal road bumps and vibration. I've transported computers and electronic equipment with less protection and worse conditions and they arrived fine.

Hello from Somerset, Kentucky. Received my Mavic Pro White this past week and after a lot of reading and registration took it out for the first time on Sunday. I'm completely new to drones and look forward to learning a lot from the other members here!
