Lost link to phone, tried to fly with controller only

Always a good idea to set you RTH altitude really high, that way you're less likely to run into issues when having to use it to fly home. At 300ft it can't be heard from the ground, so no-one will notice it.

DJI Apps do not work with Android P Beta

And I might add Litchi also doesn't work. Probably because of a problem with DJIs SDK

DJI Apps do not work with Android P Beta

Hey fellow Android pilots. If you own one of the many devices that are supported by the Android P beta don't make the update just yet. Both DJI apps crash on launch and I've been unable to get them run at all on my Pixel 2 xl. Downgrading to Oreo as we speak.

    Dji and Microsoft

True, but Windows 10 is getting popular again because a lot of people dislike the OSX GUI and the inflated prices of Mac hardware. You need to spend at least $2k to get Mac hardware that can properly edit 4k video, where half of that will get you a very capable Windows machine. I went back to...

Noise reduction and color grading ?

I agree the pricing structure was a bit clumsy, and definitely too high at first. And for someone like yourself who only uses Photoshop, a lot of the benefits go away. But as a hobbyist I use Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects, Premiere Pro and Illustrator, so it makes sense to me, and I get a...

Noise reduction and color grading ?

I work in a creative industry, and Adobe going to a subscription model has been really helpful for us. Agencies like my own often wouldn't update to the latest version until months later, because the software had to be vetted by our corporate IT, and often we would skip entire releases. With the...

Any luck using Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom to stitch 360 panoramas?

Fortunately I have a pretty fast computer, so it's not too bad, I can try a few things fairly quickly. Also I scale down my panorama's to 16384px width, because power of 2 sizes always perform better in 3D software, and that reduces the image to about 100MP. Biggest issue I have right now is...

Any luck using Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom to stitch 360 panoramas?

You know what, just tested, and Lightroom DID actually leave a bit of a stitch line. Nothing I couldn't fix though, but might as well use ICE, since it doesn't leave the same stitch line. I haven't had that issue before, but that might be because I've only been stitching images shot on...

Any luck using Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom to stitch 360 panoramas?

They do, since late 2017, I've stitched plenty of 360 images with both. But I can't get it to work with the raw assets from the Mavic AIR when I shoot a panorama with it. Tried Microsoft ICE, and while it seems to be a pretty good piece of software for the price (free), it has the same problem...

Any luck using Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom to stitch 360 panoramas?

Yeah, that'll work for sure, but I'm talking about when you use the pano photo mode in the Mavic, not when you shoot it manually. And I do need the full 360 sphere for what I'm doing. Great shot, btw ...

Any luck using Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom to stitch 360 panoramas?

Hey there, My Mavic Air does a decent job stitching a 360 panorama JPG when I shoot panos, but I prefer to use a dedicated tool on my PC instead working with the RAW photo assets I have a license for Creative Cloud, and both Photoshop and Lightroom are supposed to be able to stitch together a...

Impossible to edit 4k@30fps in Premiere Pro CS6

Hey, I know I'm late to the game here, but I was having similar issues, and I solved it by transcoding all my footage to an intermediate codec before I started editing, like you suggest. Use the Cineform or DNxHD codec, since it looks like you're on Windows. ProRes or Cineform on Mac. h.264 is...

    Dane in Los Angeles, California

Hi there, Joined the forum today, had my Mavic Air for a couple of months now. Seems like a very rich resource for pilots like myself. Here is a video I just finished this weekend, shot at Lake Morena in San Diego County. That's me in the beginning and the end of the video. Cheers, Martin

    Posting Panoramas to Facebook

True, but aren't all the assets that are backed up from your phone much lower quality than the full size assets? Or do transfer the photos at full quality from your Mavic to your phone? I personally prefer to not backup the temporary Mavic folders on my phone, the quality isn't good enough to keep.
