I just purchased this gimbal for my Canon 80D using the 18-55 kit lense for now and it works great. No clearance issues on crane shots from high to low and the new 360 barrel roll feature as well.

Seems to me like he was spying on you first. These drones aren't that easy to see in the air and much less find the source pilot on the ground.

Don't file more than two claims of any amount within in a 3 year period though they will non-renew you. They tried that on me (not related to a drone) but I asked my agent to appeal it and won.
