DJI Fly App won't open suddenly

Same thing happened to me last month, so I went ahead and bought Lichti. Slightly different interface, but I've been able to use the basics without any issues.

Go easy on the new guy ?

As a fellow, Noob... I'd love some clarification on this. Can't fly over people... I took this to mean flying over crowds. I only watched the video once, but my perspective was that it was flying NEAR people on the beach but was not overhead... and that the drone was largely over water but...

2 Pro Mavic 2 Pro around Humber Bridge

Does the video look choppy when you view the raw footage or is it after processing your edit? Matt

New to the forum and just bought a Mavic Air 2

Welcome aboard - there's so much to learn and it's hard to be patient, but slow and steady will win this race (and ensure a long life for your MA2). Cheers, Matt

NYC drone pilots, the police have a nice surprise for you !

Scary - I've been trying to learn what's legal and what's not for my home town. I can only imagine flying in a city like NYC would be navigating a minefield. Matt

    Air 2 Practicing again..

We had 160 acres growing up. Combination of pasture land and woods/trails. Really wish I could go back there and fly. You're absolutely right, though... flying through the woods is night-and-day different from flying above them. I would probably use tripod mode if I were flying in a similar...

    Air 2 Practicing again..

Thanks for posting the video. It's nice to see what others do for practice instead of just seeing finished projects. I used to live on a property which had extensive wooded trails and would have been ideal for this type of flying/shooting. Sadly, now I live in suburbia so I don't get the same...

Another new guy in the hanger in N.C.

Welcome! We can be DUMB together! I'm brand new to this as well (I bought a Mavic Air 2 with my Christmas bonus). That said, I can't wrap my mind around your name. The thought of crashing has me want to throw up in my mouth ? Matt

Mavic air 2 crash in seA

I'm noticing this when I fly low over flat ground. It seems to drop a few feet of altitude as the aircraft flies away from me. The sensors do their jobs and keep me safe, but I shudder to think of doing this over water. Extra cautious is exactly right!!!

Mavic air 2 crash in seA

I, too, am fascinated by this thread. Of course, I'm also experiencing my stomach twisting in knots as I read the posts about lost drones. I think I'm an equal-opportunity chicken. I'm equally terrified of crashing my drone in lakes, rivers, and oceans... as well as trees, power lines, and...

Mavic air 2 crash in seA

I am excited to fly over the water. I am terrified to fly over the water. Of course, I'm still new enough at this game that I'm terrified just taking off ;) Really sorry for your loss. I can only imagine what that would feel like ? Better days ahead, I hope! Matt

    Pro Land of Mountains

Hi Paul - I absolutely loved this video. That's precisely why I bought my MA2... I'd love to shoot and create videos like this :) I really liked the shot at about 1:30, especially... loved the shot through the rock arch. Thank you for the inspiration. Our world is a beautiful place!!! Matt

Welcome! I'm brand-new to this scene as well, but it's given me hope for joy in 2021... I hope it give you the same! Matt

I never did meditation. I think i need to...

I was a positive case with mild symptoms. I felt "off" for 3-5 days with an odd headache and fatigue. Though we tried to keep distant from each other, my wife and kids were in our small house at the same time. None of them ever tested positive. We began to suspect I had a false positive, but a...
