Actually if you tear your camera/gimbal cable your done! As both the Gimbal cable and the camera board are paired to the motherboard. However if just your gimbal is damaged what you can do is completely take apart your old camera being EXTREMELY CAREFUL not to damage the camera/gimbal flex...
