..in my case, it refused to land in on a slightly tall grass, which is where it took off.. not really an issue for me back then. btw, in most instances RTH to initial take-off point were within 5"..

i managed to send the mavic higher when i was at the mountain side (not in USA) and out about 2.6km. got it back after issued n RTH. landing was much smoother that my P4. at one instance it refused to land on a slightly taller grass but i forced it to land anyway which it obediently execute. so...

..err excuse me for being naive, but how do one sync between DJI Go to DJI Go 4? Tq in advance!:oops:

..just a query, I think all Mavic owners who have received the unit realised that now the camera has a 2x zoom function via toggle button on controller at lower right of screen? IMHO its optical zoom (versus digital).. :)

ordered frm DJI direct on 29 Sept 01:05 UTC Fly More... and tracking shows that it has landed at 9 am this morning (GMT +8)

..just sharing what I did, may or may not be relevant.. saw somebody post the situation in this forum earlier and I decided to do an online chat with DJI rep on their website. Nothing hostile, informing them that I planned to used the Mavic on a once a lifetime vacation. Also mentioned that...

.... (drum roll) just got email from DJI that mine was shipped today (from shenzen) and will arrive Kuala Lumpur (malaysia) estimated by this Friday afternoon via DHL. Guessing it's just the Mavic Pro package while the extra batteries and props etc (Fly More) will come later, crossing my fingers...

...last 2 cents on P4P, IMHO, DJI targets Mavic Pro for the casual and on-the-move users, while P4P will pick-up users on a level higher or prosumer.. just a hunch.. now back to Mavic pro...

..got status 'shipped' just now but without ETA or info on carrier.. Elated but cautious.. will update spreadsheet once I have those info.
