Strange drone behaviour resulting in a crash

Even going straight up without gps is a bad idea. Unless you are super confident in flying and dealing with all the correcting movements needed for the wind, you need GPS to stay locked in place or else the copter will just drift away. The computer needs either the GPS coordinates or expert...

I shot .mp4. Should I have done mov?

Tricks to takeoff from and land on a boat?

What kind of insurance will replace your drone in this situation?

Tricks to takeoff from and land on a boat?

You need to make sure the boat is completely still and not moving in space. DJI products are not designed to land while moving through GPS latitude/longitude. So it will land in the coordinates wherever you initiate the land command... And do a hand catch as to not hit the props on the boat...

I’m leaving from Miami Going to San Jose airport in Costa Rica, Wondering if anyone has went there and could tell me what customs is like with the drone. Is it aloud? Thanks

Would someone please explain how to work around the DJI NFZ confusion?

This thread is scaring the **** out of me... So you’re telling me that looking at the map on the DJI app, the app that controls the drone, isn’t not good enough to tell me where a NFZ is and if I hit a randome NFZ on the map then my drone will just land and I’ll lose it? DJI if you’re listening...

Video froze at high attitude, still had control but video never came back

I always have the two antennas pointed perpendicular to the drone so I don't think it was that. Hopefully something with the software at the time where the video signal was being received but not integrated into the display. I really hope it was an outlying one-time occurrence.

Video froze at high attitude, still had control but video never came back

I had the two antennas pointed perpendicular to the drone. Nothing crazy in the 4k video, it was not affected.

    WSJ drone article

Fine as long as the drone meets some "terrorist" requirements in order to take action. Otherwise it just sounds like an excuse for cops to have some more power tripping and target practice.

    Mavic 2 stunts & flips???

I saw a very old Mr. Steele video where he hacks a phantom to have acro mode, so not sure if anything like that is possible on a Mavic, I'm sure it is if you're feeling dangerous. Although the DJI motors are designed for efficiency, not power- so it would be difficult to control. Do you have...

Video froze at high attitude, still had control but video never came back

Anybody have this happen before or know what caused it? I took my Mavic 2 pro straight up above my head and all of a sudden the video froze (maybe it was at about 1300 feet high), but my stats in the app were still working. Like all the numbers on the screen were still telling me accurate...

Filmora won't let me import DLOG / h.265?

Sorry but are you saying that from perseonal experience or just looking at those specs? Bc the specs don’t specifically say anything about h.265 (for .mp4) and I even tried (thankfully just the trial versions) of filmora pro which is supposed to be a professional editing software and had the...

Filmora won't let me import DLOG / h.265?

I have the Mavic 2 Pro and whenever I record in Dlog (drone makes you choose h.265 to use Dlog) I noticed that filmora won't let me import the footage. Getting the "file could not be loaded" message. I tried non-Dlog but still h.265 and it still didn't work so it's definitely the h.265 that's...

Sudden Crash New Mavic 2 Pro

Hi I’m just wondering, did you buy the warranty from them or are you just talking the standard manufacturer’s warranty? If you paid for it then yes they have to but that’s pretty impressive if they will cover it under the standard. Maybe call it a defective product.
