    Drones on planes

I work for a major airline. The issue most likely has nothing whatsoever to do with the props, but rather with the lithium batteries. They are considered dangerous goods. If you look at the image the OP first posted, that what all those products have in common.

    MA Extender

I bought them a while back and haven't noticed any effect on performance. They do put the drone/camera a comfortable distance from the ground. They clip on very solid and haven't given me any concern of falling off during flight. These are the ones I purchased...

    Birds of a feather

there are several videos on You Tube that show birds attacking drones. It seems to be mostly birds of prey or others if you get too close to their nest. Most of the smaller birds will just flee the area around the drone from my experience.

Hey all, new 'pilot' from Ireland here.

Seems like you should be getting much better range than that. Perhaps electrical interference, or Line-of-Sight blocked? Are the antennas vertical? You can also check the WiFi channel (2.4/5.8) it's on as ones that are being heavily used by other devices in your area can diminish the range.

Hey all, new 'pilot' from Ireland here.

I bought these about a week ago, although to be honest, I haven't used them much yet as I don't have much open area near me so I couldn't give an opinion as to whether they work or not. I've read that the ones that replace the antennas do extend the range much further. I'm sure if you search the...

are you all up to date now with the firmware for the drone, batteries and RC?

Hey all, new 'pilot' from Ireland here.

No, pause just stops the drone in mid air. It will then hover in place until you give it further instructions.

Hey all, new 'pilot' from Ireland here.

Doesn't sound normal unless the battery wasn't fully charged to begin with. The remote battery should last much longer than the air batteries. I know when I first bought mine, there were several updates that it required, and therefore used up some battery power. Once those updated were done, any...

Hey all, new 'pilot' from Ireland here.

My wife and I passed through your area in May on holiday. Our time in Ireland is what prompted me to buy my Air. I look forward to being able to go back and bring home some real videos. Enjoy. It's a impressive piece of technology.

Hey all, new 'pilot' from Ireland here.

If you see you're headed for trouble, hit the pause button. Make sure your RTH (Return to Home) height is plenty high enough to clear any obstacles in you area.
