I blame you for quoting the User Manual, and myself for foolishly relying upon the User Manual! LOL! At least now, DJI isn't telling me it is intentionally always broadcasting RID because they can no longer guarantee the weight is below 250g... -

My M5P is with Plus batteries only so I wouldn't be able to test even if I were actively using it. I'm the opposite, I didn't mind having RID so I'll register and go from there. I guess that's another screw up for the M5P...
