I’m so sick of these PROHIBITED signs everywhere I go in Los Angeles

jagraphics said: Life used to be so simple. :) It says 'airplane' not 'aircraft'. One is all encompassing while the other is specifically fixed wing (only because they haven't got round to updating it). I just sold mine as fed up with nowhere interesting to fly. Sure, take off from a...

Mavic Air Owners; Leg Savers/extenders for your Air!

True, so maybe Thunderdrone's one is best as it would spread the impact into the arm (will be a bit heavier than 15 grams, though). I have not seen a broken one (luckily) so don't know where they break, I just use them for lifting out of the grass or mud. My son has a 3d printer so can't wait...

Mavic Air Owners; Leg Savers/extenders for your Air!

The ones I bought are no longer sold by that seller it seems (my review is the middle one): https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07CV6TY7Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 But there is another set which look identical...

Mavic Air Owners; Leg Savers/extenders for your Air!

As I am in the UK, could I have a copy of that file too, please? I bought a very similar looking set off of Amazon a while back and use them frequently; I would love to compare the two.

Cavu FPV is good but driving me nuts getting it started

Hi Nitram, I wasn't trying to have both open at the same time. And I always answered 'once only' whenever either app asked for permissions. I went the Litchi route in the end as DroneVR had so many poor ratings I didn't want to risk using it. I like that you can have more than one watcher...

    Hello from Niagara Falls

Welcome. Niagara eh? Fantastic. I went there many years ago before the age of drones - you are going to get some great footage right on your doorstep if you are ready to risk the spray! I just bought the Litchi app for my Mavic Air so that I can use goggles (cheap ones off Amazon you slide...

    almost ready to go

Welcome to the forum and good luck on your first flight - slow and minute stick movements and not in 'sport mode' would be my advice.

An issue Flying the Mavic in the rain

So what? Doesn't it rain or mist on planet earth any more? Was the thread definitively shut down with a right answer or might it still be interesting to some? And didn't I say I knew it was an old thread? What is up with some of you long time members? Oh, and happy new year.

Cavu FPV is good but driving me nuts getting it started

Hi, I just got some FPV goggles (BoboVR Z4 twenty something pounds from Amazon) and the Cavu fpv app - Does anyone know the best way to get the Cavu fpv android app synced to the MA? The only way I seem to be able to do it is by uninstalling the DJI GO 4 app, which I still want to use. I am in...
