I got out last weekend with both the Mavic 2 Pro and the Canon R7 for fall color photography. I haven't posted in quite awhile do to learning a new Canon so this was fun doing these with the Mavic !

Your photos are amazing and attests to the quality of the drone, also, to the operator and the talent of capturing the shot and producing some great images !

I'll watch a tutorial and while watching take notes, then bring them with me into the field.

There are various reasons for the VLOS rule, you're correct about aircraft, but it's also about lost connection between the controller and drone, fly away etc.... It bring back memories of a guy my wife and I meet at the Grand Canyon this spring. We pulled over in a overlook spot just in time...
