Thanks! Me either, but since picking up the MA2, my first of any kind, I’ve found myself searching for new places to visit and fly, explore, and relax!

I haven't ever been to the rim, to fly a drone or otherwise, so i cant offer any help there. I have gone out to Salt River Canyon, out past Globe, and recently posted a video in the forum from a place called the 'Boulders' in Florence for some future ideas.

Its called Thude Park, it bumps up against the 101. Everything ive found seems its geared towards RC planes primarily, but figured its work a look. https://www.chandleraz.gov/blog/its-bird-its-plane-its-thude-park-flyers

I found a park near me (off the 101 and Chandler blvd) that allows rc flying, so i think that is where i will be getting my feet wet initially. You have a place you typically go?

Thanks iaincaradoc, that’s good to know. I was trying to do some research in Chandler, but looks like it is covered mostly by the chandler airport radius. I did see Thude park as one spot that is close to me.
