It's probably a decent drone for videos but not really suitable for (serious) photography if you want a higher resolution than 12 MP. The 12 MP images are still noisy and show quite some colour artefacts but naturally these are not as visible as in the artificially enlarged 50 MP files...

Thanks for sharing the video, that's exactly the artefacts I'm seeing in the RAW files (along with horrible chromatic aberrations in high contrast scenes). Definitely a drone to skip if you are serious about your photography.

I've tried LR's standard denoise, AI denoise, Topaz denoise, etc. but none of the tools made any real difference. This is not your typical colour noise but probably a result of the crappy Quad Bayer Coding they use on the sensor.

I could understand if the asteroid effect can't be rendered internally but the other quickshots are simple 10 sec recordings without any post processing involved, aren't they?

Has someone found a workaround / hack for this issue yet? If DJI won't let us record the quickshots in 4k and D-Log, they are basically useless for a workflow that is based on D-log material and color grading in post.
