Should I be amused, or concerned?

DJI aircraft, controllers, linking are a piece of cake compared to setting up a new quad in betaflight and pairing with a controller. If it had not been for JB, youtube videos and others, I still would be floundering

Should I be amused, or concerned?

    Not many read the manual

    Epson Moverio BT-40

I have the Air 2S and BT40S. There is no way to connect the two without the RC pro controller that I know of. Please advise if you have found a way

New DJI Go 4 update will not work with IOS 11

I know this is "non drone" , but do you also ride a 1600 GT?

    Question about 400ft limit

Also be aware if that 400 ft above the tower may place you in a different class of airspace

will the FAA know if i fly over 400Ft?

I was not trying to be misleading. Apologies for being misleading

will the FAA know if i fly over 400Ft?

You have definitely cleared up an important distinction for me. Thanks

will the FAA know if i fly over 400Ft?

Agree. Also, correct me if I am wrong, but even when a VO is used (Part 107) the PIC is still required to maintain VLOS. The duties of the VO are not only to maintain VLOS but to advise the operator of the controls/PIC of safety considerations, obstacles, traffic, etc, etc.

will the FAA know if i fly over 400Ft?

Qualification was NOT my point. Under part 107, the "visual observer", (correct term) must be qualified and briefed by the PIC. However, the hobbiest can still have a visual observer (not qualified). Both positions (VO) are optional

will the FAA know if i fly over 400Ft?

A visual observer (spotter) is optional under 107 AND Hobby

will the FAA know if i fly over 400Ft?

This is not directed at you, but can anyone explain why the rules are more restrictive to 107 drone pilots than hobbiests. Part 107 pilots are required to pass a fairly rigid test on airspace knowledge and regulations. Hobbiests-zero. Yet, a part 107 pilot is restricted to 400 ft AGL, LOS...

    Does anybody else mistrust RTH?

My bad. You are correct! I was thinking "Sport" mode

    Does anybody else mistrust RTH?

Always set the RTH altitude "higher" than obstacles in it's path. Obstacle Avoidance is turned "off" in RTH

will the FAA know if i fly over 400Ft?

Please re-read my post. I was in "uncontrolled" airspace at 400 feet
