Had the same issue after the latest firmware update. All I had to do to resolve was go to "profile" and sign out of my DJI Account and then sign back in. Worked just fine after that. When the high/distance restrictions pop up during flight the "note" that pops up states something to that...
I’m surprised there isn’t a lot of people jumping in this. It is a big upgrade for those with with Air 2 and the M2P/Z. Especially if you are carrying a smart controller. Also just a much better looking bag than the one that comes with the MA2.
Found the perfect bag to pack my fly more combo and smart controller. I have packed in the Bag the MA2, 5 batteries, the SC, charging cable, replacement props, two sets of DJI ND filters, lens cleaning pen and some other misc. weighs 6lbs. Only slightly larger than standard fly more bag.

Where you trying to use the quick shots to have the MA2 track you along your ride like the video using the mini or where you using Active Track (trace/parallel)?
I am the same as you regarding aftermarket. I doubt they make much difference if any at all. And just like cars, you can’t beat the R&D that goes into OEM parts. Let me know what you think about the Air 2 after you take it out. I’d love to hear your thoughts.
That area is likely a no fly zone because Naval Base Kitsap. SSBNs (Submarines with Nuclear Weapons) Transit the strait to go out on patrol. I was stationed on an SSBN in Kingsbay, the Atlantic equivalent of Kitsap. We have the same restrictions there for security purposes.
I just get passionate and enjoy sharing my thoughts. Hope my insights are helpful.
The MA2 is a little louder in a quiet environment for sure. But the sound it makes is lower in tone and more pleasant if you know what I mean. Either one sound wise I think you will be pleased as both of these...
100% the Air 2. Much more drone than the pro platinum. The air 2 has Ocusync 2.0, Better Camera, Active Track 3.0, Further 700.00 for the MA2 Flymore is an excellent deal. The Air 2 is also going to be much quieter, and being one of DJI's newest drones it will be more future proof...
There is some weight difference to the kit as a whole, not as much as that comparison would make it seem. The packaging for the Air 2 is a lot more substantial than for the mini 2 for some reason though you cant tell that looking at it from the outside. The MA2 charger adds to that difference...
That day was 100% active track. It did an excellent job of weaving between light poles as it changed direction and had no issues smoothly dodging branches/limbs in trees.
This video was a combination of quick shots and active track. With one flyover done manually.
it may not be a feature that...
Active Track seems to work fairly well when you understand it’s limitations and use it accordingly. However if you do not do this it could lead to crashed. Below is a video I made at a local park using active track. It was following my my wife and kids around a track. On one side of the track is...
For Quickshots I like to do the shot twice. The first time I setup the shot, and watch it go around to make sure it clears any obstacles, and am ready to stop the MA2 if required. If all goes well I setup again and let it do its thing without worry and get a shot without me constantly watching...
