Battery Swelling - beware - near accident today

Have to say that I am amazed that this is still going on with these Mavic 2 Pro batteries. DJI tried to fight it but it was hard to deny a video of batteries rocking back and forth on a flat surface. The original 3 batteries with the fly-more kit all swelled at 30 and under charges for me and...

Any place in Melbourne fl to fly our drones?

Superseded now by LAANC approval when in MLB's Class D Airspace. Suggest a Wide-Area COA to make life easier. When close to MLB, 150 AGL has been approved via COA.

Looking to fly in Melbourne Fl

Melbourne - MCO and Orlando now have LAANC. Melbourne is Class D with Class E off the Runway Paths. Other than that its clear flying class G.

Any place in Melbourne fl to fly our drones?

AMA site near the Brevard County Land Fill, other than that keep clear of MLB Airspace and you should be okay. A lot of class G on the west Side. LAANC is now Available at MLB and MCO Airports.

FAA Release NEW rules for UAS Operations

The approved mfg's will be producing broadcast transponders in FCC approved frequency and be ANSI serial numbered; no reason to believe these can't be small enough to fit the likes of a Mavic 2.

DJI letting employees go in Palo Alto.

As well as the likes of Romeo Durscher, senior director of public safety integration at DJI, departed late 2020. Cynthia Huang, DJI’s former director of business development also left. Arnaud Thiercelin, formerly DJI’s head of R&D in the US, also recently made...

Mavic 3! Did anyone already see any info about it?

The only problem I see is That Remote ID calls for, among other things like classification, Inspections and certification of, including audits of broadcast transponders facilities and manufacturing process, which the CCP - Chinese communist party would never allow. FCC approved frequency & ANSI...

Mavic 2 Pro battery's Swelling with low charges all made in July 2018

I Suggest you File a Support Claim with DJI regardless of the date of Purchase. We can all state that this is a known issue especially within those dates of manufacture.

Any U.S. DJI vendors that can modify a Mavic 2 Zoom to add a Bosun 320 FLIR?

I think Dronenerd's has one that sits on top.

This may be a real dumb question, but gonna ask it anyway.

He does some In Depth reviews for the Cendence /Smart and Here Remote Controllers too. Definitely worth watching his videos if interested in the subject. Loading APK's is not difficult, if there is one available for you product - just keep an eye on your RAM usage. Plus, didn't i here that...

This may be a real dumb question, but gonna ask it anyway.

Remember that DJI's version of Android on the CS is 5.1.1 (similar to the Nvidia K1 when that came out). Apk's need to be loaded onto the CS that are compatible. I point this out as i noticed that DJI's CS version does not allow streaming via RTMP, for that i have to go back to the iPad. Good...
