    They are all easy to fly. Some controllers work on a few different drones. But you can't just use any controller on any drone.

    You probably can't. Not sure of the relevance of that. Your drone would fly perfectly well without any GPS in your controller. The drone's GPS is the only one that matters for positioning, accurate home point and tracking. I've never had one...

    No ... the GPS receiver in the drone is responsible for these. Whether your controller has GPS or not makes no difference to flight safety. That number is the number of sats your drone is receiving signals from - not the controller.
