I don't think it's likely at all.
You'd need to hear of more than one incident to decide that there's a problem with the charger.
I use the 240 watt charger.
With just over 100 flights, my five batteries have approximately 15 charge cycles each...
I think the point was that nothing in your extensive comments about the drone is not based on any factual information.
It's had numerous reviews, none of which have mentioned any of the things you did.
With 27+ hours flight experience with mine...
Given that the OP:
gave no description of the incident
later confused and evasive replies to questions
that he launched very close to a tree
and within 7 seconds ended up in a tree without seeing the incident
I believe that the drone was flown...
Not till you find out what causes it.
The recorded data from a flight where this happened might help understand what's going on.
