    Despite the wording of the warning message, my battery did not overheat. It was a false alarm . But that didn't stop the system restricting the power available to bring the drone home.

    DJI service centre got back to me and will replace the battery. They say they have seen a similar case and believe something in the battery is causing a false alarm which restricts power.

    I have 5 batteries and #3 has brought up this warning the last two times it was used.
