Is it a good idea to delete flight records?

Yes, you can delete flight records. But I can't see what benefit you imagine there will be in deleting your flight records. There's really no need to be doing that.

Is it a good idea to delete flight records?

Your privacy concerns are exaggerated. Leaving the flight records on the controller won't compromise your privacy. There is no periodic servicing needed, so you'd only be sending your drone in for crash repair. The service techs wouldn't care whether there are flight records or not. But if you...

Mini 5 Pro down over water...

Not everyone in the forum just wants to have a discussion based on uninformed assumptions and guesses. Since the forum was founded members have looked to find the causes of drone incidents and learn from them based on analysis of flight data and facts.

Mini 5 Pro down over water...

I come from a science background and prefer to work with evidence-based facts rather than running off with guesses that are most likely to be inaccurate. Would you like your doctor or mechanic to just make assumptions without facts before going to work on you or your car?

    Anomalies during a waypoint mission

I went over the data days ago and saw what's there, but because it's an automated mission we can't see what's causing things to happen like we could if you were flying the drone. Airdata and Phantomhelp always display things differently, so that's no mystery. The downlink restored messages show...

Mini 5 Pro down over water...

But since all we know of the video incident is that the drone had a problem and was lost, all of those people were guessing and assuming as you've done. You imagine ... your own personal guess ... that says it all. That one drone was lost because of an unidentified issue, does not mean that...

Do I need an ND filter for Mavic 4 Pro?

Obvoiusly a typo .... fixed now

Mini 5 Pro down over water...

Since the drone launched and hovered before losing control, it's safe to say that the props unfolded properly. With no evidence to go with, making guesses is unlikely to find the cause of the incident. I read a lot of the comments on the video and all I could make from them was that many of the...

    Flying close to water???

And as I said, flying over water or "confused sensors" didn't cause the drone to end up in the water. The recorded flight data would reveal what actually happened. I know that people suggest using rice. It's very inefficient, but the myth persists because of videos like those.

Do I need an ND filter for Mavic 4 Pro?

It's not rude at all, I was being brief. Here I'll give you a longer version. When you understand enough about ND filters, what they can do for you and whether what you are doing with the drone would benefit from using ND filters, then you'd be in a position to tell for yourself. But if you...

    Flying close to water???

That won't have been the reason the drone crashed. His recorded flight data might show what actually caused the incident. Using rice is much less effective that rinsing with alcohol and letting the drone air dry.

    Anomalies during a waypoint mission

I had a look but couldn't come up with anything helpful for this one.

Mini 5 Pro down over water...

Tons of people have no idea what happened to this drone or their own drone. It's easy to say the same thing happened to mine when you don't know what happened in either case. I wouldn't have much faith in Youtube comments, but a few of the brief comments sound like yaw error incidents.

Mini 5 Pro down over water...

The video guy doesn't mention this. Where did this idea come from? It's can be confusing trying to make sense of a crash incident from a screen recording and the recorded flight data would make it a lot easier to tell what happened. If a prop is lost the drone would rotate uncontrollably as it...

Mavic 3 Pro - Volunteer Work

I haven't tried it, but the workaround involves using Litchi as explained in this video> There are quite a few more out there if you search for Litchi drone mapping.
