Waypoints aren't stored on any SD card. They are in internal memory.

The Mavic 2 pro is eight years old and not supported by DJI anyway. Neither of those is true and neither would make any difference to an 8 yr old second hand drone anyway. Not at all, except for overpaying for an old drone.

Despite the wording of the warning message, my battery did not overheat. It was a false alarm . But that didn't stop the system restricting the power available to bring the drone home.

DJI service centre got back to me and will replace the battery. They say they have seen a similar case and believe something in the battery is causing a false alarm which restricts power.

I've looked closely at the recorded flight data and there's no indication of a bad cell. I've started a case with DJI and will be returning the battery tomorrow and expecting a replacement.
