For an iPhone, he just has to search the app store for DJI Fly.
For Android devices he would have to go to DJI's website and download from there and install manually.
What's to stop you from continuing to fly without putting any extra investment in for now?
It's self-destructive pessimism to shut down the aerial business and leave the drones that you've paid for just sitting there doing nothing.
That seems an odd reaction to something that hasn't happened, might not happen, and if it does, probably wouldn't stop you from using your existing drones anyway.
Why not fly while you can and fly until you can't?
You will need to hand launch and catch and you'll need to practise that on land before trying it on the boat.
Don't power on with the drone on the deck or any steel, do it in your hand a metre or more from steel parts of the boat..
Do not let RTH autoland your drone.
Boats at anchor drift...
The drones should be fine.
But you can have issues with the controllers interfering if they are too close together.
If you do, move them a few metres further apart.
There's no indication that there is anything wrong with the drone.
Interference at that distance over an urban area, particularly with the drone down low and close to the interference can cause glitches in the control signal.
Recording stopped when that message appeared.

The data indicates that the video was recording from 0:09.3 until 19:56.3, when the drone was 50 metres from home.
There is a message shortly after that said:
Aircraft storage full. Back up file and clear space (Code: 10062)
That explains why the video stopped.
There's nothing unusual in the data at that time.
Perhaps you mean for 10 seconds after 10:44.3.
Your flight data shows a fall in downlink quality at that time.
But the drone was 2.6 kilometres away at the time, in an urban area, so interference would have been a factor.
I can't see any...
The full-size images are stored on your drone.
The link between the drone and controller does not have enough bandwidth to handle the control signal, providing low resolution video to your screen and to transmit the high resolution images to your controller too.
Any images you might find on the...
