I hit a branch with my Mavic Mini and it fell into a river. it was in the river 4 days before I could recover it. I sent it to DJI and they sent me a brand new unit, no questions asked. It is definitely worth purchasing.

I bought it and I am glad I did. I hit a tree branch and the MM fell into a river. I recovered it two days later. I filed a claim and mailed it in. Twelve days later my new MM arrived with a new battery no questions asked.

My Mavic Mini clipped a small branch and fell into a river this week. After two days I was able to recover it this morning. There is a scratch on one of the legs, not even a broken prop. It was sitting on a root system of a tree so it never sat on the muddy bottom. Any chances it will still fly...
