Yes, I have used it for all of those reasons. I use all of buttons on my controller. When I am finished filming I just hit the return to home button to retrieve the fastest easiest way.

I use the water landing gear with bright pink floats, not for landing on water but incase it goes down over water. The floats are hi-vis and I won't have to dive and search for my drone. Hopefully I will never go down in water but if I do I can recover my drone and get it repaired or replaced...

Hello I am a new quad flyer and bought my first - a Mavic Air 2. I have flown helicopters but that was awhile ago. In my late 60's and trying to find a sport I can share with my autistic son. I live in Ventura County Calif.
