I've never had any kind of focus issue do to downgrading the firmware. It is common for the sensors to stop working after.. Just reinstalling the firmware will fix that. Sometimes not everything sticks the first time.
DJI did implement a "anti rollback" for firmware 1.04.0100 and above. It really didn't take long before the OGs fixed that problem :D
So to answer your question, yes even on the latest firmware you can downgrade your mavic pro with DUMLdore.
My guess is you got a brand new unit that's been on a shelf for a while.
My newer unit came without the internal SD and was running 1.04.0100 the AC was locked with SD error when you try to start the motors after downgrading.
Yup I've done a few mavic downgrades and always have to reinstall...
Just update it, at least you can fly it. You can easily go back on the mavic firmware later. As for the app. If you're using android then it's easy to go back to previous versions. Apple is doable but don't think its as easy.. I don't have Apple so don't really know lol
You still need to roll the firmware back to 1.03.0700 first by following the steps in the first post. What I posted was a newer firmware with missing modules which contain the parameter settings. So updating the firmware with those missing modules, will leave the old ones in place. You'll then...
Testing my new long range antenna last week. It got a bit windy on the way back. Started Auto landing at critical 10% when I'm still 1000 ft out over the water..
I barely made it back to the beach lol
My first crash O.o
Strange, my anti-virus gave me some trouble with it at first, otherwise works great.
If you're still having trouble finding the firmware I can upload it for you when I get home in a couple hours.
I've seen a lot of people having ESC errors with the platinum. They don't seem to like to be modded at all :/
I don't have a MPP so I'm unable to help. Best of luck I hope you can figuring it out.
