will do. I may just try it anyways and see what happens.. I dont know how all these jobs coming up in NYC are getting done. people must be flying illegally. and everyone wants their jobs done ASAP. this process is 30 days for new, 14 days if you have ever been granted permission before.

Hi all, I have a potential job in staten island and I am trying to figure out if I can actually fly there. I am outside of the LAANC approval areas so I know i am good there, But what I am wondering if I need to get city approvals for a 15 minute flight for photos and videos of an apartment...

can i ask how you came to those manual settings? Was it put the drone up and adjust settings until you liked the look? Or did you use the histogram? Or a combo of both? I just ask because I am more of a drone pilot than photographer and I like to learn how people are getting these great videos.

not looking good for Destin - red means no LAANC. and all 0ft restrictions there, so even using dronezone you most likely wont get approval. but you can always ask - use droenzone to put in for an altitude waiver. pensacola beach, panama zity, and perdidio are your next closest options and...

just watch out for the blue angels training.. they regularly make 100ft passes over pensacola beach when training.

I was thinking it might be a cool thing to be able to do a 3d map inside a building. Think like a large tennis dome, or indoor soccer fields, etc. It would be a great marketing tool if you could create a 3D model that you could be inside of, vs outside? just wondering if anyone has tried this...
