just to follow up and close out - i did purchase this, but not the same one. it fits fine on the M3E even though most are designed for the Mavic 3. And it fits with the RTK antenna on as well!

Taking "drone in hand" photos- best process?

I have a project coming up that requires me to take photos holding the drone, mainly for the high accuracy GPS that it applies to the photos. using the M3E, i'm trying to figure out how to to best do this - holding the drone while also holding the controller to frame the shot and trigger the...

This is really great news. I havent watehed your full video yet, so maybe you answered this question in there. But did you ever discuss parachute options with the FAA during this process? My use case is more construction mapping , roof and pavement inspection, etc. I would need to have this...

    Flying in Staten Island

Hi all, I have a potential job in staten island and I am trying to figure out if I can actually fly there. I am outside of the LAANC approval areas so I know i am good there, But what I am wondering if I need to get city approvals for a 15 minute flight for photos and videos of an apartment...

    the importance of manual exposure

can i ask how you came to those manual settings? Was it put the drone up and adjust settings until you liked the look? Or did you use the histogram? Or a combo of both? I just ask because I am more of a drone pilot than photographer and I like to learn how people are getting these great videos.

Going to use my drone for fishing in destin i have questions

not looking good for Destin - red means no LAANC. and all 0ft restrictions there, so even using dronezone you most likely wont get approval. but you can always ask - use droenzone to put in for an altitude waiver. pensacola beach, panama zity, and perdidio are your next closest options and...

Has anyone tried mapping inside a building?

even if you could fly the automated route, I'm thinking that only covers the ground and part of the walls. Im thinking doing the ceiling as well to create the enclosed space. in past mapping missions i've manually taken photos under overhangs and things like that to get good detail on say the...

Has anyone tried mapping inside a building?

I was thinking it might be a cool thing to be able to do a 3d map inside a building. Think like a large tennis dome, or indoor soccer fields, etc. It would be a great marketing tool if you could create a 3D model that you could be inside of, vs outside? just wondering if anyone has tried this...
