Got my Mavic Pro Fly More package in mid Feb 17 after waiting since mid Dec 16. Fortunately I had met a guy who flew a Phantom 3 and a Yuneec drone and he let me have a fly and talked me into the Mavic so I did have some experience when my Mavic arrived. Learning to edit my footage now so I can create some more interesting stuff.
Flew fixed wing aircraft for 350 hours years ago (60's and 70's). Enjoy flying and enjoy filming from the Mavic which is lots of fun. These days an avid traveler.
Some of the laws re drones in different countries are a serious concern. It is a sign of the times with law makers who know nothing more than how to propose stupid regulations just because they can. Fortunately here in NZ we have not been over regulated but we must remain vigilant.
