You never strap a RC aircraft of any kind down and test props or rotors like that. RC planes are ok here...talking quads,drones and in particular RC helis. There is a harmonic vibration that can cause all sorts of problems. When unstrapped the AC can pass through these vibrations and smoothen...

Weighs in at 3.76lbs (weighs less than carrying 8 mavic batteries). Doesn’t feel cheap (plastic used & the thick silicone handle. Charged it up and charged 3 batteries so far no problem. Has two usb outs. Can also use it as one hell of a power bank in a power outage. I’m surprised it weighs less...

I would rather fly with just the IPM4....and no goggles. Agreed the display is amazing on the mini when flying. I have both android and iOS devices.....and when it comes to the mavic the iPad mini is the winner in my book (by a long shot).
