That's really what I'm afraid of but my Phantom 3 Adv never had this issue. Guess it's worth a try. I purchased RE Goggles and can't even use them from all the drop outs.

A friend of mine lost his Mavic Pro in a lake and fished it out 48hrs later. After a tear down and a couple days drying out it flys perfectly. Lens needs to be replaced due to fogging but that's basically it.

I actually have a Tab S2... but either way glad to hear yours works. Only thing I haven't tried is going back to previous versions of software. Had it connected to my P3 Adv for a few seconds here and there but it never would work their either.

Everything powers up and app shows Mavic but it will not enter the device and connect. Pop my S8 in and it works just fine. Same version 4.2.24
