Ok, thanks. Is there a good way to stop the props in this situation? I thought about turning the Mavic upside down by hand hand but didn't try it, it was really fighting me.
I was returning home with battery, got the Mavic back to my back garden at 20% battery and it stopped in mid air, not responding to controls but was just in a place I could reach it. Did my normal reach up and grab it and hold the left stick down to kill the power but the props stayed spinning...
Thanks for the replies both. I had to register it so I guess it's new. The box and packaging were a little worn but hardly a mark on the drone. Photos below .
My Mavic Pro just arrived from Amazon. There were a few very light marks on the box which raised my suspicions. The memory card was a Sandisk Extreme 16GB. The previous Mavic Pro I have owned had a Lexar 633 card. Anyone know how I can work out if the Mavic is definitely new or not? It looks in...

The seller has 96% positive feedback on Amazon and it's a saving of more than £100 which is tempting. It should at least be covered by the DJI warranty, which I've used on my P3A which developed a cracked case.

I've had a Phantom 3A for a couple of years and love it but I'm starting to crave the portability of the Mavic Pro.
There is a 3rd party seller on Amazon UK (where I live) selling new at £740. £850 for a 'fulfilled by Amazon' one.
Also my phone is a Pixel XL which is a decent phone but...
