Only you can decide, I'm still flying my Mavic Pro , I just purchased 4 new batteries since my first set of 4 are starting to puff after 3 years. So to keep me going until the Mavic 3 Pro Zoom 4K 60 comes out I'll just stick with my Mavic Pro with Stealth Props and all the other goodies .

The 3 blade will increase stopping ability, so you will have to soften that in your settings. No big deal. I fly free style quads 5" and 2 blades props are old school , 3 and even 4 blade get better bite therefore fly more predictable. The Mavic has no need for that since it's not a race...

Go into camera settings and un check over exposure setting. If it looks like zebra stripes when you exposure is to high on bright objects that should take care of that issue. It may have turned it on as default.

Use DJI. Ground station pro. Every way point will have it’s lag n long reading. You can even hover over a spot ( land mark property stake ) and get the readout on you map.

I’m using Master Airscrew all black. Stealth and very well made. Plus I get another 1&1/2 mph out of them . Very solid feeling in the air even in high wind.

I would change your cable if your having problems with Your Galaxy S8. I have the GS8plus and it works Great . Uninstall and reinstall the go 4 app and use a different cable. Always best to use the large USB on the bottom of the controller vrs the side port.

I use a iPad mini 4 WiFi version. If your away from a WiFi area to pre load maps you can always use your cell phone as a hot spot and load maps from that connection. As long as the parts are available I wont sweat it to much. But Im still keeping my fingers crossed so I dont start having bad solder joints appear after a year or so.

Amazing, good read here for sure. Glad you were able to repair it yourself. Just think if that happens or happened to me I’d be screwed. I’d have to pay DJI a big buck to repair my MP. This is what worries me about buying the newer (Mavic 2 ) and then having troubles when the warranty runs out.
