Was having the same issue, emailed DJI they are sending me a replacement but I've been using the OEM iPhone cable and it works best, a bit to long but can deal with it. out of the box the one from DJI was giving me connectivity issues.

moving the positioning didn't help me either, try using your phones OEM USB cable

Ive Experience similar symptoms with my Mavic and I have came to realize it was the cable the came with the aircraft. I use an iPhone 6s plus. I started using an OEM cable plugging it straight into the USB on the remote and all my connectivity issues went away for now at least. anyone experience...
