I have multiple mavic2 Pro and Zooms. Actually, looking back at my logs they have flown over 13k ft above sea level with no issues. I very rarely push batteries past 50% even starting with full charge. You must pick and choose very carefully what the weather (wind) is doing at these altitudes.
Air Aware app is just like b4ufly was. Definitely a strange way to end the old app with really no information on how to proceed with getting flight approval.
I am following with interest on this subject. Would any of these editing platforms work with easily with both videos and still photos? I messed around with the free version of DaVince Resolve the last several days and I didn't find it suited to my skills for now.
I have used the same DJI SC for 4 different Mavic 2 models. When you try to connect to any given drone, it will take you to screen that asks which model, ie Zoom or Pro etc. Then , it will show you what models you can connect to from previous connections. Mine all have names which you customize...
Make sure you have enabled intelligent flight modes. Mine randomly decides to this Off in the settings menu. If it's off, you can't change flight modes
When I checked into bringing my drone to Thailand as a foreigner last year it was pretty clear you needed permits and insurance. The penalties were said to include prison and heavy fines. That made my choice to leave them at home very easy.
