I for one re-calibrate the compass on my mavic every time I fly the **** thing. But that's just me. Many people on here will say you should only do it once and whatnot. I mean, it only takes like 20 seconds to do it...
Every time I turn my Mavic on it asks me if I would like to calibrate it. To me, what's 20 sec of my time to do it? Plus, in almost every video I've seen online, they all recommend doing it before every flight. Key word :RECOMMEND. Maybe when I fly it again later today, I'll do it without...
I had my drone set up to (ISO: 1600 and Shutter: 50). Looked great. All I did after it was airborne was focus it on the tiny dots on the street (street lights) and it worked out great! Nothing was distorted or had any flare ups. :D I did, though, had a small error message when i got close to...
It's been in the upper 90's here in Los Angeles for about a week now. Just worried about my phone and or my Mavic over heating. Plus, I don't think its fair of me to be sitting under a tree in the shade when my Mavic is out in the blistering heat doing all the work
It sounds like you have a defective battery. I had the same issue. Went back to Geek Squad and they swapped out my battery for a new one. Told me the cell(s) were or are bad. Manufacturer defect I guess? I have 3 batteries in my rotation and no problems so far.
There's been a few times that I've flown my Mavic still within sight in an open area and I get some type of cut-off on my screen (static or fuzz) as if its losing service or is in an area with a lot of interference. Was debating on purchasing a pair of signal boosters. My question to all my...
Hahaha that's true. Nobody has really said what the advantages were. Flew my Mavic today without the update and it was fine. Ran it into a tree though. That was pretty funny. I was recording my flight too. You could see my neighbor react to all the commotion :D
Not sure if anyone has came across this problem. I recently upgraded to a 32g micro sd card. When I'm transferring my videos off my Mavic and onto my MacBook Pro, everything is great. When I try to export the 4K file to a 1080p on QuickTime its tells me "can not save video". It never did that...
If you can find one that can put out 1.21 gigawatts, one is all you'll ever need :D. All jokes aside, I have 2 probably getting one more. But I guess it all depends on what you're using your Mavic for...
Okay okay. So, I'm reading mixed reviews on this new update. Is it good or is it bad? Will my drone just land once it enters a NFZ? Will my drone fly into outer space? Can someone set the record straight? Thanks o_O
