There's no absolute altitude cap, just 400' above the top of the structure. So, you could climb to 1400' AGL over a 1000' AGL structure. On added requirement - Part 107 pilots flying above 400'...

I have never seen that option. To do vertical shots, the Mavic 4 Pro does "true" vertical shots, meaning the gimbal rotates to do so. There is no need for a vertical crop. -
