A very nice panorama. Nicely composed and exposed. What drone? ThereS an issue with multi-exposure compositions involving waves. They move between exposures. With smaller waves or chop, it's often not noticeable. Even with the larger waves here, it's not excessively distracting from a fine photo.

Unless I can set the speed to about 0.2 mph and monitor the entire return, I'll not be trusting this feature quite yet.

I've never seen that problem with cruise control in my Mini 4 Pro, or other DJI drones. Setting cruise control maintains the speed and direction in effect at the time. Does the problem you see occur only with forward flight? Or do you see the same behavior with other flight directions -...

No. Does anyone have any examples of US firmware blockages for other products? Yes. Updates are used to fix problems and add features and functions. There have been no problems with updates restricting usage of DJI drones in the US.

No one has said you're dumb. But you did put two drones into positions where waves and spray could come into contact with them. You stated that in the case of the first drone in your initial post.

Are you saying that the water was flat calm, with no waves? You were more than 1100 yards from the drone at the time it got wet. That's not a situation that provides a clear assessment of the drone's motion. And it obviously didn't provide a good assessment of the waves.

No firearms confiscations have ever been seriously considered in the US. Much smoke and fear. Great fundraising for a certain organization. No fire. Stoking fear of drone confiscation is unrealistic.

Here are the last few seconds of the log. The VPS altitude is more relevant, but neither shows negative values.

The log shows that the controls were neutral during the last seven seconds of the flight. More like an ascent by the wave than a descent by the drone.

You controller can connect to the drone without any wi-fi whatsoever, regardless of where you are. You must log into your DJI account on your controller via wi-fi (or other Internet connection) occasionally. You won't be able to connect the controller to the drone until you do. That time has...

Log into your DJI account while your controller is connected to the Internet via wi-fi. Then fly tomorrow.
