Sport mode is the devil. I crashed mine into a pine tree at 40mph, then watched it hit every limb on the tree on the way down. Never went back to sport mode again. I got lucky it missed the lens by a mm if that, just a busted viberation pad hoop thingie. Took few hrs to fix but never to return...

I called the police dept and talked to the watch commander few weeks ago. He said you can fly anywhere in o'side, stay under 400 ft, stay away from airport in valley. I fly all the time at the pier and harbor. The police just wave at you and go about their business.
