Extremely bad advice! To encourage someone else's child to risk falling out of a tree and breaking a bone or worse is very careless.
You want to risk someone's safety, climb the tree yourself!
Unless part of the event staff or for a specific purpose, I wouldn't get involved because you're bound to find someone who's bothered. Either way, shouldn't matter too much if these are "unmanned" kits, it's probably your drone mostly at risk.
We have kite flying events here fairly regularly the zone covers quite a large area so i think it would be quite difficult to get decent footage without annoying the kite flyers therefore i stay away in my view its not worth the trouble.
